- Organize a local cleanup
- Join us at an upcoming event
- Support Ocean Friendly Establishments
- Support businesses and organizations that support POP!
- Start a POP Chapter in your community
- Become a POP Ambassador
- Educate others on the plastic ocean pollution problem
- Don't use plastic straws. Purchase bamboo or glass ones, or cut them out altogether!
- Invest in reusable items (i.e. grocery bags, mugs, glassware) instead of one-time use options
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Re-purpose!
- Remove your own trash when you visit the beach, lake or park
- Participate in a local clean up or organize your own!
- Buy locally caught fish (discarded fishing nets are a huge problem in the ocean)
